NSTMIS Meeting @ JECRC University.

National Science and Technology Management Information System (NSTMIS) Division of DST, New Delhi organized two days 2nd Brain Storming Meeting emphasizing on “Technology Commercialization with special reference to Industry Participation in Indian Context” on 6th- 7th November 2017 at JECRC University, Jaipur.
The eighth meeting in the series focused on sensitizing the role of Universities and Industries on Technology Transfer. Twenty-five top leaders from different Industries were part of this grand discussions. The meeting started with the floral welcome of all the dignitaries by our President Prof. D. P. Mishra and Registrar Shri. S. L. Agrawal followed with a welcome address by Dr. Praveen Arora, Scientist G, Head and Advisor, CORD – NSTMIS Division, DST, New Delhi.
Experts galaxy included Dr. Debabrata Chatterjee from IIM Kozhikode expertise on globalization of Indian Thoughts, Dr. M.H Balasubramania, IISc Bangalore, Dr. D. Rama Rao, ASCI, Hyderabad, Dr. Roshan Yedery, EDC, NCL Innovation Park, Pune, Dr. Padma Satish, IRCC, IITB, Mumbai, Shri Vineet Kumar Goyal, Steinbeis, Hyderabad and Dr. K. Sumathy, Bharat Biotech, Hyderabad, number one biotech company in India generating innovative technologies and manufacturing unique vaccines and biotherapeutics.
The closure of the meeting was with a visit to Therachem research Medilab Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur a JECRC Industry Venture. The experts appreciated the JECRC University innovative venture for establishing the industry for bridging the gap a move towards Industry-Academia Partnership.
