A Blood Donation Camp was organized at JECRC University by Team AASHAYEIN under the guidance of Professor Jagdev Singh (Head, Department of Mathematics), School of Sciences.
This camp was organized on 22nd December 2022 at two venues Engineering Block and Auditorium, JECRC University. The main objective of this camp was to raise awareness about the need and the importance of blood donation.
The camp was inaugurated by our esteemed Shri. Arpit Agrawal ( Vice chairperson, JECRC University). The camp was organized from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the theme of ‘Being a Secret Santa’.
The students along with faculties shows full enthusiasm for blood donation and around 1536+ units are collected which is indeed an outcome of team efforts.
Pink City Blood Bank, Monilek Blood Bank, Bharadwaj Blood Bank, Narayana Blood Bank, Rampal and Gurkul Blood Bank were invited for blood collection.
Presence of Squadron leader SPS Kaushik (Asia’s number one Skydiving and parasailing Instructor), Comando Keshav Sir (warrior who fought in 26/11 Attack) and Poonam Ma’am (National Award winner Social Activist) as a chief guest in the camp boosted the students morale to serve society selflessly. We had participation from all the departments. All were happy and excited to be a part of this camp. The event ended up with motivational words from leader, coordinators and group pictures of the team.
