JECRC University celebrated its 9th Convocation Ceremony with grandeur and dignity, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence, innovation, resilience, and holistic development. The occasion marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students and reaffirmed the University’s continuous pursuit of excellence in higher education.

The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries whose presence added immense prestige to the event. The Chief Guest, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS, and KIMS, Bhubaneswar, and former Member of Parliament, Government of India, addressed the gathering with inspiring insights drawn from his extensive experience in education, leadership, and public service. In his convocation address, Prof. Samanta encouraged graduates to embrace innovation, uphold ethical values, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building and global progress. His visionary words left a lasting impression on students, faculty members, and guests alike.

Distinguished Guest of Honour

The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Revathi Mannepalli, Joint Wireless Advisor, Government of India, as the Guest of Honour. With her distinguished professional background and exemplary leadership, she added intellectual depth and inspiration to the occasion.
In her address, Ms. Mannepalli spoke about the importance of perseverance, integrity, adaptability, and lifelong learning in an ever-evolving global environment. Drawing from her professional experiences, she inspired the graduates to think critically, act responsibly, and pursue excellence with humility and purpose. Her thoughtful message served as a guiding force for students stepping into their professional journeys as ambassadors of JECRC University.

The Presidential Address
The Presidential Address was delivered by Shri. O.P. Agrawal, Hon’ble Chairperson of JECRC University. In his inspiring and thought-provoking message, he emphasized the transformative power of education and encouraged graduates to use their knowledge, skills, and values responsibly to address societal challenges. Shri Agrawal highlighted the vital role of educated youth in nation-building and global progress, urging students to remain committed to ethical leadership, innovation, and lifelong learning. His address strongly reflected JECRC University’s mission of nurturing socially responsible, competent, and future-ready professionals.

Honoris Causa Conferment
On this auspicious occasion, JECRC University conferred the prestigious Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Honoris Causa) upon Prof. Achyuta Samanta and Ms. Revathi Mannepalli in recognition of their exceptional contributions, distinguished leadership, and exemplary service to society and the nation. The conferment of these honorary degrees symbolized the University’s deep respect and
appreciation for their visionary achievements and enduring commitment to excellence. The honour also served as a source of inspiration for the graduating students, motivating them to pursue integrity, innovation, and meaningful societal contribution in their professional journeys.

8th Convocation Ceremony.

The 8th Convocation Ceremony of JECRC University was held on January 4, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the University’s academic journey. The ceremony was graced by Shri. Suresh Prabhu, former Union Cabinet Minister and senior parliamentarian, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Shri. Inderjeet Singh, Managing Director of RIICO, and CA Kapil Goel, distinguished Chartered Accountant and Advocate. The grand occasion celebrated academic excellence and brought together graduates, faculty members, and dignitaries in a vibrant tribute to education and achievement.

During his presidential address, Shri. O.P. Agrawal, Chairperson of JECRC University, extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduating students. He encouraged them to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their academic journey toward the betterment of society and the progress of the nation, while continuing to uphold the values and legacy of their alma mater.
 
In his convocation address, Shri. Suresh Prabhu highlighted the immense potential of India’s youth and urged graduates to contribute meaningfully to society and nation-building. His inspiring and insightful address deeply resonated with the audience. On this occasion, the University conferred upon him the prestigious Honorary D.Litt. (Honoris Causa).
 
The University also conferred the Honorary D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) upon CA Kapil Goel. In his acceptance speech, he shared his thoughts on the knowledge, culture, and heritage of Bharat, drawing inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita and Ramcharitmanas. He also emphasized the significance of the Indian Constitution and its role in the nation’s development.
 
Shri Inderjeet Singh Ji inspired the students with his insightful reflections on the importance of the three “H’s” — Heart, Head, and Hand — in personal and professional growth. He explained how empathy, intellect, and practical action together shape character, leadership, and success in life.
 
During the ceremony, degrees were conferred upon 2,467 graduates. The University also recognized academic excellence by awarding 32 gold medals, 16 silver medals, and 11 bronze medals to meritorious students. In addition, 18 scholars were awarded Ph.D. degrees, highlighting the University’s strong commitment to research and innovation.
 
The convocation ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including Professor Victor Gambhir, President of JECRC University; Professor Ramrattan, Pro-President of JECRC University; Shri S.L. Agarwal, Registrar; and the Deans of various schools.
 
As the ceremony concluded, Professor Sanjay K. Sharma, Dean of Research and Convener of Convocation 2025, delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, students, staff, and stakeholders for their valuable contributions to the success of the event. The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.

7th Convocation Ceremony.

JECRC University& Seventh Convocation Ceremony was held on January 6, 2024. Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar, Chancellor of ICT and former Director General of CSIR, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Shri. Sharad Vivek Sagar, Founder & CEO of The Dexterity Global Group, attended as the Guest of Honour.

During his presidential address, Shri. O.P. Agrawal, Chairperson of JECRC University, extended heartfelt congratulations to all graduates and encouraged them to use their knowledge and skills to contribute to the progress of the nation and bring pride to their alma mater. In his convocation address, Dr. R.A. Mashelkar highlighted the immense potential of India’s youth and urged graduates to make meaningful contributions to society and the nation. On this occasion, the University conferred upon him the prestigious Honorary D.Litt. (Honoris Causa).
The University also conferred the Honorary D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) upon Sh. Sharad Vivek Sagar. In his acceptance speech, he shared his thoughts on the knowledge, culture, and heritage of Bharat and inspired the graduates through reflections on his life experiences. Degrees were conferred upon 1,400 graduates during the ceremony. The event also celebrated academic excellence, with students receiving 26 gold, 13 silver, and 12 bronze medals. Highlighting the University’s commitment to research and innovation, 11 scholars were awarded Ph.D. degrees. The ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Professor Victor Gambhir, President of JECRC University; Professor Ramrattan, Pro-President of JECRC University and Shri S.L. Agrawal, Registrar, along with the Deans of various schools. The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Shri S.L. Agrawal, Registrar, followed by the National Anthem.

6th Convocation Ceremony.

JECRC University celebrated its 6th Convocation Ceremony on January 07th, 2023.  In his presidential address Shri O.P. Agrawal, Chairperson, JECRC University congratulated all the graduates and motivated them to inspire not only the coming generations of JECRC University but of the World at large.
Prof. Victor Gambhir (Vice Chancellor, JECRC University) addressed the gathering and narrated the journey and achievements of JECRC so far and congratulated the graduates for their bright future ahead.
The event was graced by the Honourable Mr. Justic Ajay Rastogi (Justice, Supreme Court of India) congratulate the graduates and suggested they “work not only for themselves but also for the happiness of others”. He encouraged the graduates by calling them the Generation of Entrepreneurs. He also focused on practical learning and stated that we should always try to be better not the best in whatever we do.
Mr. Ashwin Sanghi (Indian writer and author) was truly humbled by the recognition and stated that JECRC has groomed over years. He appreciated the efforts of the graduates and extended the heartiest congratulations to all of them. He shared that to be an author the only thing that motivated him is to know that every shortest distance between two people is a story.
Prof. Victor Gambhir, President, JECRC University, Prof. Ramrattan, Pro-President, JECRC University, Sh. S.L. Agrawal, Registrar and all Deans of various schools were present on this occasion.
1200 Students got degrees including 24 Gold, 19 Silver, and 14 Bronze medals. During the ceremony students & parents came from across the countries and abroad to the JECRC campus to witness this grand and traditional ceremony. A feeling of pride and glory was identified in the eyes of graduates and parents.
There was an live photo booth setup to capture the once in a lifetime achievement of the graduates and their parents.
At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Sanjay K. Sharma, Dean (Research) and Convener, 6th Convocation-2023 expressed the Vote of Thanks and conveyed his gratitude to all the stakeholders. The Ceremony concluded with National Anthem.
 

5th Convocation Ceremony.

JECRC University celebrated its Fifth Convocation Ceremony on January 08th, 2022.  Following the guidelines of the State Government and considering the COVID-19 and Omicron threats,for the wellbeing of all the students and parents,the ceremony was virtually organized this time with limited attendance in physical mode.
In his presidential address Shri O.P. Agrawal, Chairperson, JECRC University congratulated all the graduates and motivated them to inspire not only the coming generations of JECRC University but of the World at large.
The event was graced by the benign presence of Dr. Kailasavadivoo Sivan,Chairman, Indian Space Research Organization, India as the Chief Guest.In his Convocation address, he emphasized the power of the youth of India and inspired them to accept new challenges in their lives. His convocation address was quite inspiring and insightful.The University conferred the Honorary D.Sc. (Honoris Causa) to Dr. KailasavadivooSivanonin this occasion.
Dr. Sivan distributed the degrees to 1448 graduates. In the Ceremony 38 Gold, 32 Silver and 32 Bronze Medals were being awarded to the top rankers of the University. Eight Ph.D. Degrees were also distributed on this occasion.
Prof. Victor Gambhir, President, JECRC University, Prof. Ramrattan, Pro-President, JECRC University, Sh. S.L. Agarwal, Registrar and all Deans of various schools were present on this occasion.
Due to the restricted number of physical attendance, only Ph.D. Awardees and medalists attended the ceremony in physical mode. All other faculty members, Graduates and their parents attended this Convocation Ceremony virtually in a huge number. The event was live streaming on Facebook and University’s Official Website. Everyone appreciated the smooth conduct of the ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, Prof. Sanjay K. Sharma, Dean (Research) and Convener, 5th Convocation-2022 expressed the Vote of Thanks and conveyed his gratitude to all the stakeholders. The Ceremony concluded with National Anthem.

4th Convocation Ceremony.

The most auspicious ceremony of the year begins with a procession. JECRC University witnesses their 4th Convocation on 2nd Janurary 2021 and Welcome the very eminent and renowned Global Icon Padma Bhushan Justice Dalveer Bhandari as our honourable Chief Guest for the day along with the Chairperson JECRC University, Shri O.P. Agrawal and other dignitaries. Justice Dalveer Bhandari is an Indian member of the International Court of Justice. He is a former Judge of Supreme Court of India. He is also the former Chief Justice of Bombay High Court and a Judge of Delhi High Court.
4th Convocation at the JECRC University comes to an end. 1394 Students Graduated in which 15 were awarded Ph.D’s , 30 with Gold Medals, 28 with Silver Medals and 27 with Bronze Medals.
Shri O. P. Agrawal, Chairperson, JECRC University congratulated all the graduates and wished them good luck for their life ahead.

3rd Convocation Ceremony.

The most auspicious ceremony of the year begins with a procession. JECRC University witnesses their 3rd Convocation today and we welcome the very eminent and renowned Global Icon Padma Vibhushan Shri. Anil Kakodkar as our honourable Chief Guest for the day. He is a Nuclear Physicist and the key person in the Construction & Design of DHRUVA that is India’s largest nuclear research reactor. He was the chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission of India and the Secretary to the Government of India. He was the Director of BARC, Trombay from 1996 to 2000.

3rd Convocation at the JECRC University comes to an end. Organizing such a Grand Ceremony witnessed by more than 2000 people including 700 Students Graduated in  which 16 were awarded Ph.D’s , 31 with Gold Medals, 28 with Silver Medals and 24 with Bronze Medals. The graduates were super excited to be in their campus again meeting their batch mates, teachers and collecting the happy memories around. The day proved its sanctity and virtue by its grandeur which made it joyful for each and everyone present in the ceremony. Shri O. P. Agrawal, Chairperson, JECRC University congratulated all the graduates and wished them good luck for their life ahead.

2nd Convocation Ceremony

A DAY TO REMEMBER !!! A Big day which ended up with a huge prominency and became a remarkable day for the ones who dreamed it in this way. JECRC University hosted its 2nd Convocation in which Padma Vibhushan Dr. Krishnaswamy Kasturirangan, Former Chairman, ISRO and Shri. N. M. Ranka is Leading Lawyer, Tax Consultant and Philanthropist conferred with “Honoris Causa”.

722 Students Graduated in which 17 were awarded Ph.D’s , 30 with Gold Medals, 26 with Silver Medals and 19 with Bronze Medals. The graduates were super excited to be in their campus again meeting their batch mates, teachers and collecting the happy memories around. The day proved its sanctity and virtue by its grandeur which made it joyful for each and everyone present in the ceremony. Shri O. P. 1st Convocation Ceremony.

A day to remember, A day to cherish! The 1st Convocation Ceremony has added tons of memories filled with happy and bright faces in our diary. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each & every individual who were a part of this with flying colors & made us immensely proud, along with the entire organizing team.
Special thanks to our Chief Guest, Padma Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar, Chairman, ISRO for taking out his precious time & enlightening us. In reminisce of the evolution of technology in Indian Space Research Organization- ISRO INDIA since 70s.
We were immensely overwhelmed to share the stage with the recent Graduates of JECRC University & being a reason for the smiles on their faces while they received their degrees. Our Chief Guest Padma Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar cited the Gold Medalists of JECRC University, Rajasthan. 83 Students who were toppers in their respective branches from various courses were honored with Gold Medals. Shri. O.P. Agrawal, Chair-Person, JECRC Foundation presented the citation “Dr. of Sciences” to our Hon’ble Chief Guest, Padma Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The procession ceremony begun with the esteemed dignitaries & we were absolutely overwhelmed to host our bright students.
