Message of Dean Jaipur School of Business
A metamorphosis of business has led to the increasing necessity of capable management professionals, capable of adapting to fast – changing economic scenarios. At JSB, JU, we intend to promote interdisciplinary research and development for the benefit of industry and society through research and development. Our faculties create a stimulating environment to nurture students’ creativity, innovation, and excellence. Besides business skills, we emphasize ethical and value-based education. A core mission of JSB is to develop human potential to its fullest extent so that they can emerge as intellectually capable and imaginatively gifted leaders in the field of business. A multi-pronged effort is taken to realize this goal by revamping the program to respond to the changing needs of the industry, and by selecting faculty with excellent academic records and industry experience, and maintaining a strong interface with the industry. The Jaipur School of Business understands the need to build a strong knowledge base of business management among our young generation. For this purpose we offer a BBA degree, conferred after three years of full-time study in one or more areas of business niche. The degree is designed to give a broad and interdisciplinary knowledge of the functional aspects of a company and their interconnections while also allowing specialization in a particular area. Industry’s contemporary nature and continuous changes in technology has made the need for specialized labor more crucial. Catering to the need, JSB now offers a specialized three year full time degree program in Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BBFI)”. The program aims to create a basic understanding about the functioning and requirements of the banking industry by providing knowledge about market, counter operations, advanced technology, corporate insurance, treasury and risk management, legal aspects of banking and foreign operations.

The learning outcome-based curriculum of 3 years B. Students grappled their brains during in house competitions of poster making, Ad mania, Talent Hunt, Skit, Extempore and business quiz. With the objective of making Job creators rather than job seekers Jaipur School of Business gives thrust upon igniting young minds to become successful entrepreneurs through series of expert & students interaction during Entrepreneurship Development week. Experts & entrepreneurs like. Students were exposed to –Heritage properties like Amber fort, Jaipur Foot Centre, etc. Students got exposure by volunteering in events in collaboration with CII, FICCI Rajasthan State Council on 17th January 2020.
The Jaipur School of Business organized an Interactive Workshop on Financial Literacy in association with the Institute of Financial Literacy, a division of National Stock Exchange. The experts for the session were Mr. Rahul Agarwal and Mr. Vikram. JSB stresses on holistic development of the students and in this regard organized a stress Management workshop facilitated by Ms. Jaya Rajawat, renowned author and fashion designer. To build socially responsible students, JSB celebrated the World Charity day on 5th September 2019 and the event was graced by Ms.Sunita Jain, President, Blossom Charity Group. JECRC University organised an interactive session on Entrepreneurship on 20th January 2020. The session was graced by Mr.Amit Mishra, Founder, ID8VC and Mr.Salil Seth, Manager, Invest India. The students have gained deep insight regarding entrepreneurial skills through these valuable sessions. Students also got exposure through the Department of Science & Technology (DST) sponsored IPR workshop organised by JECRC University. The workshop has given deep insight about IPR related issues and procedure to fill an IPR.
Student Grooming & Development
Apart from academic learning, we focus on developing the ability to understand and apply a multi-dimensional approach to overcome complex business problems, to groom the student’s overall personality and improve his communication skills, to help the students acquire required professional skills in their respective fields. We believe that an open communication setting induces increased student involvement and participation. Thus they are also mentored by experienced faculty members on various personal and professional issues. Various activities are conducted from time to time to inculcate the spirit of innovation and creativity in the students. The spirit of volunteerism too encourages student involvement and participation. Our students ‘volunteers as

Being a learner of an interdisciplinary program, the learning approach cannot be unitary. Our students actively participate in several co-curricular activities organized in the department. The Programmes at department of Jaipur School of Business at JECRC University, is designed to prepare its graduates for continued learning and successful careers in industry, government, academia and consulting.
The programmes has designed in line and benchmark in higher education and research to our graduates by outcome based quality education. Our alumni by their performance will show that they will achieve one or two parameters after two to three year of graduation. Following Program Educational Objectives are finalized after various brainstorming session.
PEO-1: Students will develop themselves as effective professionals by solving real problems business problems through the live projects and case studies by developing team work, effective communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
PEO-2: Students will develop professional skills that prepare them for immediate employment and for life-long learning and to act with creative, innovative and entrepreneurial potential with management tools.
PEO-3: Students will demonstrate their ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment by having learned and applied new skills and new technologies.
PEO-4: Students will be provided with an educational foundation that prepares them for excellence, leadership roles along diverse career paths with encouragement to professional ethics and active participation needed for a successful career.

Human Resource Management
Students who undertake this programme will:
PSO 1: Demonstrate an understanding of key terms, theories/concepts and practices within the field of HRM and Demonstrate competence in development and problem-solving in the area of HR Management;
PSO 2: Provide innovative solutions to problems in the fields of HRM and be able to identify and appreciate the significance of the ethical issues in HR.
PSO 3: Work effectively with colleagues with diverse skills, experience levels and way of thinking;
PSO 4: Be able to evaluate HRM related social, cultural, ethical and environmental responsibilities and issues in a global context.
FINANCE
PSO 1: Understanding of the concept of the time value of money and be able to use basic time value concepts to make basic capital investment decisions, and
PSO 2: Analyze and value securities, including debt and equity instruments and Understanding of the relationship between risk and expected return generally and for specific security classes.
PSO 3: Knowledge of the characteristics of the principle asset classes and key securities to be able to evaluate their appropriateness as investments in a broad range of portfolio applications.
PSO 4: Ability to use the concepts of the time value of money, the risk/expected return relationship and asset-class and security diversification, to construct an investment portfolio that satisfies a hypothetical client’s objectives and constraints.
Marketing Management
PSO1: Identify core concepts of marketing and the role of marketing in business and society. To gain Knowledge of social, legal, ethical and technological forces on marketing decision-making.
PSO 2: Appreciation for the global nature of marketing and appropriate measures to operate effectively in international settings. Ability to develop marketing strategies based on product, price, place and promotion objectives.
PSO 3: Ability to communicate the unique marketing mixes and selling propositions for specific product offerings.
PSO 4: Ability to formulate marketing strategies that incorporate psychological and sociological factors which influence consumers. Ability to collect, process, and analyze consumer data to make informed marketing decisions
