National Healthcare Hackathon 2.0

Revolutionizing Healthcare Through Innovation

The second edition of the National Healthcare Hackathon (NHH 2.0) at JECRC University brought together an exceptional blend of medical expertise and technological innovation. The event united over 100 MBBS and postgraduate medical students with B. Tech, BCA, and MCA students to collaboratively address pressing healthcare challenges.

During an intense 36-hour, non-stop innovation sprint, these interdisciplinary teams demonstrated remarkable dedication and synergy while working on more than 25 real-time medical problem statements. They developed impactful and practical solutions across key areas such as patient care, diagnostics, digital health, and hospital management systems.

The event was further elevated by the inspiring presence of Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Ashok Seth, whose visionary insights encouraged participants to think beyond conventional boundaries and create scalable, patient-centric innovations. Several ideas are already progressing toward deployable prototypes, establishing NHH 2.0 as a powerful launchpad for healthcare entrepreneurship. This is further strengthened by JECRC University’s commitment to provide startup assistance of up to ₹10 lakh per team for incubation and growth.

As the university advances its vision with the upcoming JECRC Medical College, Hospital, and Research Centre, it continues to foster a robust ecosystem of research, innovation, and collaboration—empowering the next generation to drive transformative change in healthcare.
