  • VLSI and Embedded Systems

    The 2-Years full time M.Tech program in VLSI and Embedded Systems will cover the fundamentals and engineering aspects of designing and developing IC-based systems. Traditionally, VLSI technology has emerged out as a successful conglomeration of two streams: Material Science and Electrical Engineering. The state of the art VLSI technology requires research in physical devices as well as novel design and development of electrical circuits. The VLSI program will focus on the development of hands-on skills in designing semiconductor devices and circuits, architecting systems using embedded components such as CPU, memory and peripherals. Students will learn several topics that cut across different domains, starting from the lowest level of physical devices to the top level of application development. Students will learn CMOS VLSI Design, SOC Design, Advanced Embedded Systems, VLSI Design and Verification, Design of Analog and Mixed-Mode VLSI circuits, Real- Time OS, Advanced Microcontrollers, Low-Power VLSI Design and more.


    CAD/CAM is a specialization in operation, use and application of computer software to create design for a variety of industries. It is aimed at building drafting skills in electronic structures. M. Tech in CAD/CAM imparts, through a holistic curriculum, skills to apply computer and scientific principles to solve problems related to manufacturing.

  • Thermal Engineering

    M.Tech.Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate course involving- on advanced level-concepts of energy efficiency, renewable energy & environmental preservation, and their entwinement with classical energy technologies and recently discovered technologies. Enrolled candidates are trained in design, development, and simulation and to explore new areas in Thermal Energy Systems and allied sciences. B. Tech. with minimum 55% aggregate marks in related discipline.
Candidate with MCA/ M.Sc. IT may also be considered for M.Tech. in Computer Science.
Note: Relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility criteria shall be given to the candidate who belongs to SC/ ST/ Rajasthan state OBC Non-creamy layer / women category.
