JECRC hosted the world’s biggest innovation model Smart India Hackathon on 2nd of March 2019, which was inaugurated by Shri. Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India, where 32 teams with 228 participants found digital solutions for Ministry of culture and ministry of power along with two corporate houses namely Tata Motors and Hero Electric Vehicles. It’s a moment of great pride and achievement for us that we are hosted SIH’19 in the JECRC Foundation for the 3rd year in a row.
GOVT OF INDIA entrusted us with the responsibility to host the world’s biggest Hackathon, SIH, organised by MHRD, on 2nd & 3rd March’2019. In this 3rd league 95 reputed corporates participated and JECRC University hosted hundreds of innovators participating from across the length and breadth of the Nation to share innovative digital solutions for Ministry of Power and Ministry of Culture, Hero Group & TATA Motors. In last two editions 2,00,000+ students participated and this year also 1,00,000+ students participated to contribute their ideas in nation building. JECRC University has made a fantastic ecosystem of hackathons at JECRC campuses where more than 10 hackathons has been organised in last 2Â years.
