Students visit to different national level exhibitions like- India Craft Week, DELHI India Design Symposium (International Exhibition of Design), Art Summits, Trade fairs, Industrial units, visit to different states of India to expose students to Historical, Vernacular and Contemporary art and craft.

2. “WORKSHOPS” 
 In this series “Workshops” are a great way for students to gain hands-on experience and rapidly acquire knowledge in their area of expertise. Not only National but International experts in their field have shared their experience & guided students with their own market experience.

3. “MASTER CLASS” 
“Know How Series” by eminent industry person of different fields come for Guest lecturers as this expand the student horizons of creativity further.

4.“LIVE PROJECTS” 
The School of Design at JECRC University believes in Learning by doing different realistic projects in the University itself. In such projects working to such briefs they learn commercial context, the need of end user, decision making and problem-solving skills and communication skills.

5. “COLLABORATIVE EVENTS” 
The well-integrated inter- disciplinary curriculum infuses an in –depth knowledge. The idea is to create an opportunity for the students to interact, co- create and learn beyond their classrooms. 

6. “ENTREPRENEURSHIP” 
The enriched curriculum prepares the students with complete learning of the trade that can help them easily fit into the design world whether working with an established name or setting up a business right after graduating.

7. “EVALUATION” 
The students are assessed through presentation and discussion after every semester by a jury comprising industry experts and academicians. Students are encouraged to develop their ability to present their work and continuous comprehensive evaluation.

8. “INTERNSHIP & PLACEMENTS” 
The focus approach of the University persistent and multidimensional training of the students in line with the industry expectations and hands-on-learning has led to a sharp increase in the number of Internship as well as placement.

9. “JU-RHYTHM” 
JU-Rhythm is envisioned as the best techno-cultural and business fest to bring out the talent and to explore the same in the budding students. The students of the design department carried out the entire work planning & implementation of the Design space.

10. “COLLABORATION -THE DESIGNER’S CLASS”
JECRC University has collaborated with “The Designer’s Class” which is India’s first digital education platform. The students of the School of Design at JECRC University will learn directly from the experts like Abu Jani, Masaba Gupta, Sandeep Khosla, Rhea Kapoor, Tanvi Ghavri, Gauri Khan Etc.

11. “MEMBERSHIP -WDO (WORLD DESIGN ORGANISATION”
JECRC University has taken the membership of W.D.O (WORLD DESIGN ORGANISATION). The World Design Organization (WDO), formerly known as the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID), is an international non-governmental organization that promotes the profession of industrial design.

12. “AN EDUCATIONAL TRIP”
The primary objective and intent of our schools is to awaken intelligence in the educator and the student. Educational trips that form a part of the school curriculum are very valuable as they provide the students the opportunity of learning through travel.

14. “33 RD WORLD DESIGN ASSEMBLY TOKYO 2023”

27-29 October 2023, Tokyo (Japan) Hosted by the WDO Promotional Member Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP), the 33rd World Design Assembly will include the 2023 WDO Research and Education Forum, a Design Conference and WDO’s 33rd General Assembly. Under the theme of ‘Design Beyond’, the three-day event explored the evolution of design and its intersection with humanity, technology, and the environment. 

Keynotes, workshops, and breakout sessions exploring the following themes: –

Humanity – Designing from a New Perspective on Human Identity

Planet – Designing for Environmental Problem Solutions

Technology – Designing Digital Transformation

Policy – Designing the Future of Design Policies

School of Design Participated in WDO World Design Assembly Tokyo 2023 where Ms.Shivani Kaushik, Dean, School of Design, Dr.Sunita Yadav, HOD, School of Design, and Ms. Priyanka Beriwal, Assistant Professor, School of Design.

Together, The School of Design and WDO can achieve the champion ‘design for a better world’. WDO programs are designed to enable collaborations among the global design community, to identify challenges and opportunities, and to address some of the world’s most significant economic, social, and environmental challenges, from a design perspective which will benefit School of Design students and give them international exposure.

15. “MEMBERSHIP -IIID (INSTITUTE OF INDIAN INTERIOR DESIGNERS)”, JAIPUR REGION CHAPTER

JECRC University has taken the membership of I.I.I.D (INSTITUTE OF INDIAN INTERIOR DESIGNER). The Jaipur Regional Chapter of IIID is amongst the top-performing chapters of IIID and is considered to be a very active chapter. IIID frequently conducts technical sessions under its ‘Knowledge Series’ program where experts from the trade fraternity hold technical presentations to update not only the architects and interior designers but also the students and professionals.
