Candidates admitted to B.Tech program through the JU B.Tech Online Entrance Test within the first 250 ranks are offered 25% scholarship on the tuition fees.
The candidate will however be required to pay the caution deposit payable at the time of admission. The Scholarship will not cover the expenses such as hostel accommodation or any other expenses apart from the tuition fees.
The Scholarship does not include refundable security deposit, boarding and lodging cost, cost of laptop (wherever applicable), transportation and any other miscellaneous fee.
To be eligible for continuation of scholarship in the second and subsequent years the student must maintain a CGPA of 8.5 and should not have been suspended for any case of indiscipline
Candidates who are availing the Scholarship through the JU B.Tech Online Entrance Test ranking will not be eligible for the JU Scholarship program offered based on the merit in the 10 + 2 examination. In case the candidates are eligible through both the Scholarships, the candidate will have to opt for any one of the scholarship and he cannot avail both the scholarships together.
Candidates availing the scholarship will have to have the minimum marks as per the B.Tech eligibility criteria in the10 + 2 examinations. Candidates who are availing any kind of financial assistance from the government or any other private organizations for educational support are not entitled for JECRC University scholarship. The University can discontinue the scholarship scheme at its own discretion. The final decision of awarding of scholarship will be taken by the appropriate bodies of the University.
