For all the students aspiring to appear for Engineering entrance exams 2012, it is very necessary to know the details of the same. In order to get admission in any reputed engineering college of the country one will have to appear in one or more engineering entrance exams 2012 like AIEEE, IEEE, JEE, GATE, RPET, etc. A higher rank in these exams would mean admission in top engineering colleges of India. RPET, an acronym for Rajasthan Pre-Engineering Test is an engineering entrance exam being conducted for the entrance in the undergraduate programs of the engineering colleges of the Rajasthan state of India. It also called as RPET EAP, which stands for “Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy”.
Generally it is being conducted in the month of June every year. Now, it is being conducted by Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan (BTER), Jodhpur. RPET 2012 shall consist of single examination of three hours duration containing 40 objective type questions in each of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The total no. of questions will be 120 carrying one mark each. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. The questions in the test booklet will be both in Hindi as well as in English.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained by a candidate in RPET-2012. The results will be announced by the mid of June with the merit list being put up on the website as well as the notice board of RPET. The mark sheet will be dispatched by post soon after the declaration of RPET result 2012. Notification regarding RPET counseling 2012 is expected to be out in the second week of June.

Recent trends witnessed during the AIEEE and RPET counseling 2012 for B.Tech shows that JECRC is the most preferred college by students for admission in B.Tech courses. JECRC offers 4-year B.Tech degree programmes, which are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota. All admissions here take place on the basis of ranking in AIEEE and RPET examinations.
